Wedding Entertainment with Character
You’ve got your favourite people all in one place and want them to have a fab time. That’s my cue.
I’m a wedding caricature artist who’s been tickling nuptials since 1999, so I’m great with faces and the people attached to them!
Think of me as the interesting guest with the brilliant party piece – bringing a bit of a buzz, plenty of good humour and some creative fun to your day.
I’ll mingle with your friends and family, get them chatting, and draw a spot-on caricature in minutes. I’ll keep the person I’m drawing entertained and get everyone joining in. From the drinks reception to the evening party, I’ll take my cue from you, your do and your crowd.
Plenty of laughs and a unique picture to remember your day by.

What I Bring to Your Wedding
What I Bring to Your Wedding
I’ll Give Your Guests Something to Talk About

For me, it’s about getting stuck in, having a good giggle with your guests and finding out who’s who. I’ll keep the energy going, bring onlookers into the fun and give people who’ve only just met something to show off to each other.
Join in or just enjoy watching. There’s fun to be had either way
..And Proof They’ve Had Fun!

First there’s the super fast drawing. Then the reveal and the laughter. For the guests, the caricatures are always a highlight of the day and they get something they’ll actually want to keep – a little reminder of themselves having a fab time at your wedding.
Wedding entertainment and a keepsake, all in one.
When Do Wedding Caricatures Work Best?
When Do Wedding Caricatures Work Best?
Caricatures work best where people are mingling, celebrating and enjoying themselves. They’re flexible enough to suit everything from elegant weddings to intimate private parties, and I can fit around whatever you’ve got planned.

Drinks Reception & Wedding Breakfast

Guests are warming up, getting a drink, working out who’s who.
While you’re having your photos taken, I’ll get amongst your guests. They can carry on chatting, have a nose over my shoulder and enjoy a bit of fun together. Once everyone sits down for the wedding breakfast, I can work my way around the tables, fitting around the food, the speeches and your venue’s team.
Evening Party

Caricatures are brilliant for evening parties!
Give me a party full of people and I’m happy. I’ll mingle, add a bit of buzz and draw as many folks as I can in between the dancing. Day guests, evening guests, whoever’s up for it. I’ll fit around your first dance, cake cutting and whatever else you’ve got planned. It’s your do, after all.
Got a ‘lull’ between the speeches and the evening party? That’s another good spot for a few funny faces. How about cocktail hour when guests are drifting and chatting? I can draw all day if needed – getting round even more of the guests!
Tell me your timings and guest numbers, and I’ll help you work out when to start and how long to book me for.

Wedding Caricature Artist FAQs
Wedding Caricature Artist FAQs
Wedding caricature bookings start from £450, with the final price depending on where, when and how long you’d like me there.
Send me your wedding date, location and a rough idea of your plans. I’ll then give you a clear quote, so you know the price before you book.
That depends on how many guests you’re inviting and which part of the day you’d like me to cover.
I’m usually booked for three hours.
If you’re unsure, tell me what you’ve got planned and I’ll help you work it out. After more than 2,000 weddings, I’ve got a pretty good idea of what fits where.
I usually draw around 10–16 classic caricatures per hour, depending on the mix of individuals and couples, and how well behaved they are. An individual black and white caricature takes roughly 3–4 minutes, while a couple takes around 8 minutes.
I’ll always keep the drawings coming and the conversation going, making the most of the time you’ve booked.
Every wedding is different and I’m always happy to fit in with your plans.
There’s two ‘sessions’ I’d recommend as best for the caricaturing – the reception session or the evening session.
For the reception session, I’ll be at the venue ready for when the guests arrive (or after the ceremony), drawing during drinks, photos and chit chat. This is a good time to catch those guests who may not be part of the main wedding party, warming them up for the day, and working alongside the photographer to keep everyone amused. Then, during the wedding breakfast, I’ll work my way around the tables – drawing in between courses and pausing for any of the usual formalities. I’ll also make sure to capture the top table. Three hours will normally take us up to around the end of the meal and before the speeches.
The evening session is a little more straight forward. I’ll be there for the start of your evening do – or slightly earlier to catch the end of the reception – and draw through to a time when everyone is too merry to sit still for three minutes; catching a good mix of the daytime and evening guests as I go.
Other times include, the ‘lull’ in between the wedding breakfast and evening party, or a quick blast during Cocktail Hour.
The most popular times are during the drinks reception or in the evening.
During the reception, I draw while guests are mingling and photos are happening, and can also work around tables during the meal where appropriate.
In the evening, I’ll draw a mix of daytime and evening guests until the dancefloor takes over. It also works well during quieter moments like the lull or cocktail hour.
I bring everything I need, and there’s very little setting up to do. I work on the move, hopping between groups or drawing around the tables.
That means your guests can carry on chatting and enjoying themselves while I draw. I’ll come and join them.
Everyone I draw receives their original caricature to take home on the day. I use high-quality paper and professional marker pens, then roll and fasten the drawings so they’re easy to carry away.
Some couples also like to display the pictures during the reception, with guests collecting theirs before they leave.
Yes – for example, you might like your names, wedding date or a short message included. I can match your wedding stationary font and colours too.
Just mention it when you enquire, and we can agree the details beforehand so everything is ready for the day.
Of course! You’ll definitely get a picture from your own wedding!
Let me know when you’d like a caricature together, and we’ll plan a moment around your photographs, meal and other commitments. That way, it’s part of the fun rather than another thing you’re trying to squeeze in.
Yes – I’m used to drawing guests of all ages and backgrounds, from grandparents to the youngest members of the family. Some are keen to be first, while others prefer to watch for a bit before joining in.
My focus is on entertaining your VIPs and adult guests, so they take priority. However, I’m great with kids too and happy to draw them when time allows.
The pictures are cheeky and good-humoured. Above all, I want people to recognise themselves, have a laugh and be pleased to take their drawing home. There’s also plenty of entertainment for the people watching too.
I’m based in Bath and regularly work in London, the South West and South Wales, as well all over the UK.
I also travel abroad for weddings, so wherever you’re celebrating, send me the venue details and I’ll work out a quote.
Once you’ve confirmed your date and venue, it’s worth getting in touch. Booking early gives you the best chance of securing the date you want.
However, if your wedding is coming up soon, do still ask. I may have your date available, and I’m always happy to check.
Once we’ve agreed the details, I’ll ask you to complete a booking form and pay a £100 deposit to secure your date.
You’ll receive a receipt with your booking confirmation, and the remaining balance is due on the day of your wedding.

Drawing professionally since 1999, Chrissy has entertained guests at more than 2,000 weddings, as part of over 3,000 events worldwide. His experience covers everything from small family celebrations at home to glamorous weddings abroad.
Walkabout wedding caricatures
Chrissy specialises in walkabout caricatures, moving between groups, chatting and drawing as he goes. The entertainment includes the people watching, so there’s plenty to enjoy before the finished picture is revealed.
He can hold his own with your loudest uncle and put a quieter guest at ease. With guests of all ages and backgrounds, he knows how to judge the mood, include people and keep the conversation flowing.
A seated setup, or a combination of seated and walkabout drawing, is also available to suit the venue and plans for the day.
Funny pictures and a wedding keepsake
Each caricature is drawn live by hand using pen and paper. Everyone drawn receives an original picture to take home, making the experience both wedding entertainment and a personalised keepsake.
The drawings are funny, recognisable and full of character, with good humour behind the exaggeration. The aim is to give your guests a laugh and a picture they’re happy to show off.
All artwork is created by Chrissy himself. No AI-generated artwork is used.
When do caricatures fit into a wedding?
Live wedding caricatures work particularly well during:
- Drinks receptions, while guests mingle and the wedding photographs take place.
- Wedding breakfasts, with drawing fitted around the food and speeches.
- Evening receptions, moving between friends and family as the celebrations continue.
Chrissy combines fast drawing with years of experience working around wedding timings. As a result, he can make the most of the available time while fitting naturally into your day.
