About the artist
Christian (Chrissy) Marshall has been drawing caricatures since 1999, starting outside the Sydney Opera House and never really stopping.
Since then, he’s worked at over 3000 events across the UK and internationally — including conferences, exhibitions, corporate events and weddings — from Vegas to a Swindon Travelodge, he’s done the lot.
Blending witty observation with cheeky charm, he creates irreverent but inoffensive caricatures, delivered with genuine enthusiasm and a knack for getting guests involved.
One of the UK’s most experienced event caricaturists, he combines speed, skill and entertainment in every event.

Should I book traditional caricatures or digital caricatures?
It depends on your event — and this is where experience really helps.
Digital caricatures (iPad) are ideal for corporate events, trade shows, exhibitions, conferences and brand activations. They’re designed for busy events, allowing higher volumes, branded artwork, and instant sharing.
Traditional caricatures (pen & paper) are perfect for weddings, private parties and more relaxed, social events. They create a more personal, interactive experience, with a physical keepsake guests can take home.
If you’re unsure, I’m happy to recommend the best option based on your event.
How long does each caricature take?
It depends on the style, the setup, and the guest (hair and beards do take a little longer!).
Classic caricatures (black & white) take around 3–4 minutes per person, or roughly 10–15 people per hour.
Digital caricatures (full colour) are more detailed and take around 5 minutes per person, or 8–12 people per hour, with an extra minute or two for printing or sharing the artwork.
The focus is always on keeping a steady flow, minimising queues, and making sure as many guests as possible get involved.
What types of events are caricatures suitable for?
